I _finally_ got a new Mac at work today :) A nice 2.8MHz Code Duo 2 with 4Gigs of RAM! Now I can have Windows and OS X running at the same time without swearing at endless swapping (hopefully) :)

We got a bunch of new macs for our labs at uni too, but for some reason they're just sitting there without any cables, not even power. It's such a waste :(
I'll probably get a desktop mac sometime, I only found out recently that you can dual-monitor them so they're suddenly much more appealing :)
Oh oh, can you take off the stand things and attach one of those VESA arms btw?

@ben
You can use VESA mounts on the iMacs
@Mike
How's the glossy? My MBP is matte and where I sit in the office at the moment, I am glad I made that choice.

Martin,
Glossy is.. well.. it's fine, but alot depends on your location. I have a window behind me, so when it is shiny and I have black-backgrounded windows (Terminal, TextMate) on my screen, they reflect like hell (look really lickable at the same time though ;)
May be if I could choose, I'd go with matte for work, but with glossy for home (I have a dark room :)

Yeah I was going to ask about the shininess.
Are you still doing your sticky-note-GTD system Mike?
I'd love to see a shot of it on your new iMac ;) Lovely sticky marks all over the shininess :D

I still have my good old analog GTD system on my new Mac :) Much more space for stickies, and they actually stick much better to glass than to plastic :)
